We head toward Summit Block Rock just west of Coffeepot Rock (which is located at the far right in the photo below)
Dr. Rubo's Wild Ride offered lots of grunts and fun, the likes that surely caused many unsuspecting hikers below to ponder what was going on.
I'm com'in!
Made it - thank goodness the next pitch is supposed to be harder - Icarumba!
Confidently having placed a piece of gear I head off to perform the 5.9 mantle!
Happily I am back belaying while I watch my tall and strong man confidently accomplish the 5.9 mantle. Our resources did warn us about the move being height dependent, but rarely to I get so shut down. I still recommend the route, but be careful if you're under 5"4'.
